BIC Africa – African Business Incubator Communities – is an
accelerator programme for female entrepreneurs.
Duration: 1.1.2021 – 31.12.2025

BIC Africa is an inspiring accelerator programme for female entrepreneurs supported by EBN. The programme focuses on supporting women business owners across all sectors and business types through a combination of online training modules, coaching sessions and a mentoring programme with women experts from Africa and Europe with relevant experience in supporting innovative entrepreneurs and start-ups.

2023 and 2025 accent acted as a service provider to selected beneficiaries. With its third edition 2023 the programme focused on 15 women entrepreneurs from Angola, Comoros, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Somalia and 5 others from other African countries willing to scale their businesses while contributing to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In 2025, the BIC Africa Virtual Training Programme contained curricula such as agri-business & partnership development and financial modeling.
