The European Entrepreneurial Regions (EER) are being supported by the European Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises (EASME) and the European Commission Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs.

Time Span of accent contribution: 01.01.2018 – 31.12.2020

The overall project has the objective to strengthen the impact of existing actions for developing start-up and scale-up support by building on the experience of the ‘European Entrepreneurial Regions’ (EER) initiative of the Committee of the Regions. The regions with the most credible, forward-thinking and promising entrepreneurship visions are awarded the EER label showing an outstanding and innovative entrepreneurial policy strategy, irrespective of their size, wealth and competences (composed of 30 territories from 16 EU Member States).

accent as one of the representatives of the Lower Austrian region, together with ecoplus, was directly collaborating with business supporting entities from Catalonia, Central Macedonia, Flanders, Île-de-France, Lombardy, Marche, North Brabant, Western Greece, North and Western Region Ireland. accent co-elaborated action plans along the common thematic priorities in regard to digitalisation, soft-landing schemes, agriculture and open innovation.
