EmpoweredByNEIA – Ecosystems Mapping and Action Planning through Open dialogue for Wider cooperation across EU Regions with a focus on Cleantech is an EU project funded by Horizon Europe CONNECT.

The EmpoweredByNEIA project goal explored and aimed to understand the structures and potentials of various ecosystems through Ecosystem Mapping and Open Dialogue in the area of Clean Tech. This coordinated and supportive initiative brought together members of European innovation ecosystems to develop tailored bottom-up policy activities. Through the participatory Entrepreneurial Discovery Process we identified the most promising innovation opportunities in each ecosystem.

The overarching goal of the project was to support the flagship initiatives of NEIA, the New European Innovation Agenda.

NEIA aims to strengthen the EU’s innovation capacities by advancing the promotion of digital technologies, accelerating the green transition, enhancing industrial leadership, promoting skills and talent retention, and supporting innovations for social purposes. accent plays an essential role as a partner in this endeavor aimed at promoting collaboration and innovation in European regions.
